In the day in which we live there are so many that are not standing against sin. This is what was happening in the days of the letter to the Corinthian church that Paul wrote. The problem with this type of mentality is that if we are not standing against sin then we are condoning the sins of others. 1 Corinthians Chapter 5
2 Timothy 3;
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
There is so much sin going on in our world today and Christians are just standing around not preaching or speaking against it. They are turning a blind eye to it so they do not offend people but I remember what it says in Ezekiel
Ezekiel 3:19 In Context
16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. 18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. 20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. 22 And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee.
I have family that believe that they can live any way they want and they are OK but the truth is that if you believe that then you do not know the savior. The scriptures say
Romans 6:1 In Context
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
We cannot live any way we want and expect to gain entrance into heaven.
I urge you to turn from your sins and turn to the Savoir, ask for forgiveness and for him to cleanse you, also strive to live the example that he set for us to follow and follow him and his words.
